  • Eternity is about helping others become like God, with God. By selflessly serving others in this way we end up saving ourselves and becoming like our Savior and our Heavenly Father: exalted beings whose work and glory it is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. That is the whole point of everything, both in this life and the next. If you want to live in the celestial kingdom and enjoy the life God does, you have to do what He does, because that is what goes on for eternity.
